Glen Day is a Principal with Ernst & Young LLP and is the America’s Information Governance Leader. Previously, he was the Cyber Security Leader for Technology and Healthcare. He is a recognized thought leader in both intellectual property (IP) protection and HIPAA healthcare regulations. Glen has over twenty years of experience advising corporate boards, business executives and technical leaders in developing comprehensive processes for managing and maturing their Information Governance, Privacy and Cyber Security Programs. Leading capabilities include:
• America’s GDPR Leader focused on operationally enabling data subject rights on Day 1
• Enterprise Inventory of both structured and unstructured Big Data (PB-scalability)
• Contextually classify information assets from creation through disposal
• Strategically enhance protections of high value information assets
• Intelligently dispose of low value information assets

Glen’s areas of expertise include IP and critical information asset protection; visual “big data” and cyber security analytics; automated contextual data classification/information management; intelligent data disposal; data loss prevention (DLP); cloud security; and information privacy.
Previously, as a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., Glen led the firm’s cyber security and privacy services for commercial healthcare and co-led its commercial accounts in Financial Services. He also served as Los Angeles County’s first Chief Privacy Officer, CEO for a data encryption/public key infrastructure (PKI) company, and as an executive with Accenture’s Network Solutions Group. Glen is a retired Navy Commander with a specialty in Information Warfare.
